Hempen Funeral Home honors our veterans by assisting families of deceased veterans.  We will coordinate funeral honors with available military units and local veteran organizations.  Hempen Funeral Home routinely completes applications for veteran benefits pertaining to the funeral.

         

In addition to assisting families, we have purchased an electronic bugle. This bugle may be used by local veteran organizations to pay tribute to a fallen veteran.  The electronic bugle plays a version of "Taps" recorded at Arlington National Cemetery in 1999 at the Memorial Day Ceremony.
